HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – Martha S. Testerman, Harrisville, was charged with having an unlicensed salvage yard and having a salvage yard in a prohibited area (within 1,000 feet of a residence).

HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – After reportedly attacking and threatening his former wife, Jayson R. Holt, 42, Greenwood, was charged with domestic battery, strangulation, burglary, violation of a protective order (two counts) and destruction of property.


HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – Harlan R. Wyers, 39, Harrisville, entered a guilty plea per an agreement to a charge of child neglect creating risk of injury.


HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – Asonte C. James, 21, Freeport, Illinois, pled guilty Sept. 27 in Clarksburg to federal charges of “possession of counterfeit obligations.”


HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – Thomas J. Smith, 50, West Union, was charged with fleeing with reckless indifference and driving revoked for DUI (third offense) after being arrested early Sept. 28.

PULLMAN, W.Va. – Ryan Glenwood Amos, 41, Pullman, was charged with second-offense unlawful taking of a vehicle and third-offense driving suspended after an incident in October 2020.

PENNSBORO, W.Va. – Larry E. Sterling, 70, Pennsboro, was charged by Tpr. J. M. Thompson, West Virginia State Police, with failure to register as a sex offender, a felony.

HARRISVILLE, W.Va – For years before Rhonda Ireland was charged with embezzling funds, Regeneration, Inc., was hemorrhaging cash in excessive salaries and administrative expenses.

CAIRO, W.Va. – Daniel L. Byrd, 30, Cairo, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) after a search warrant was executed April 2 at a property on High Street.

LEATHERBARK, W.Va. – On Sept. 7, Sgt. C. M. Snodgrass, West Virginia State Police, met with Randy Richards, who reported that he had been assaulted by a younger individual.

HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – On Sept. 13, Rhonda K. Ireland, 45, Pullman, was arrested and charged with six counts of embezzlement of funds from her former employer, Regeneration, Inc.

HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – Michael G. Moersen, 51, and Jennifer R. Moersen, 39, of Harrisville, were both arrested on charges of domestic battery (Michael's was his second offense) after an altercation at their home turned physical.

RITCHIE COUNTY, W.Va. – James E. McManus II, 37, Washington, was charged by Dep. J. Chang, Ritchie County Sheriff’s Department, with leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to give information and render aid.

HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – Dale E. Lowther Jr., 41, Stonewood, was charged with a felony count of being a person prohibited from owning a firearm, and misdemeanors including possession of a controlled substance, driving suspended and receiving/transferring stolen property.

SMITHVILLE, W.Va. – John K. Roberts, 26, Smithville, was charged with three counts of receiving stolen property after Sr. Tpr. J. T. Blevins, West Virginia State Police, found vehicles in his possession which had been reported stolen.

ELLENBORO, W.Va. – Stacey Wade Owens, 51, Pennsboro, was charged with duty upon striking an unattended vehicle after hitting a parked car.

HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – An assortment of hearings were held in Ritchie County Circuit Court Aug. 16-17.

PENNSBORO, W.Va. – On March 1, officers were dispatched to Pine Drive in Pennsboro, in reference to someone stealing a catalytic converter.

HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – Jennifer R. Moersen, 38, Harrisville, was charged with second-offense driving revoked for DUI, expired MVI and expired registration after a traffic stop.

HARRISVILLE, W.Va. – Harold G. Gibson, Jr., 46, Parkersburg, appeared in Ritchie County Circuit Court on Aug. 5, along with his attorney, Judith McCullough, to ask for his bond to be reinstated.

PENNSBORO, W.Va. – Jalen M. Arnott, 20, Vienna, was charged with fleeing from an officer, a felony, along with misdemeanor counts of failure to stop/yield, overtaking a vehicle, left of center, speeding, no registration, no MVI, no insurance, driving suspended and possession of meth.
