Kendell “Joe” Wilson, 57, of St. Marys, WV, departed this life on Monday June 21, 2021, following a hard fought battle with cancer. 

He was born May 11, 1964, to the late Clyde and Thelma Maxine Adams Wilson.  He was a member of the Harrisville High School Class of 1983.  He enjoyed fishing, but was known most for his gift of gab, having never met a stranger.

Surviving are the love of his life, Sharkie “Jeannie” Blouir Wilson; daughters, Loree (Dana) Spitzer, Caree Bills and Virginia Cox; grandchildren, Wesley (Kimberly), James (Olivia), and Bradley Bills, Sharkie Lewis, Issac Cisler and Beckalynn Kester; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Carlee, Gracie and Aiden Bills; seven siblings, Duane (Dolores) Adams, Bob (Vicki) Adams, Sheila (Bob) Varner, Rita Wilson, Kevin (Tammy) Wilson, Jay Wilson, and Mickey (Phyllis) Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. 

Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Becky Lewis; infant granddaughter, Zoe Lewis; two sisters, Karen Owens and Virginia Lee Wilson; and a nephew, Casey Wilson.

A service will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2 p.m., at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Pastor John Frum officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasants Memorial Estates, Eureka, WV. 

Friends can call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home.
